Just a quick reminder that there will be a math circle meeting this Tuesday (9/20) at 6:30.
Once again, the Zoom links for Tuesday’s session is this and students should print out the handout here
The topic is Contest Counting and Probability, which is crucial to many of the most difficult contest problems. There are hints to all the problems on the handout on the bottom.
If you have any questions about problems or are not able to solve a problem, please post in the forum and I will address the problem publicly.
Also, the AMC 8 is on November 15th, so there is less than 2 months to prepare for the exam and these sessions and handouts will definitely boost students’ scores. Last week we covered AMC 8 problems between 18 and 25 in divisibility, and this next week will build up their skills even further with counting/probability problems 18-25 as well.
If you are new to math circle and wish to register and attend the class this Tuesday, please fill out the following google form: https://goo.gl/forms/c8t2FNy7OoVdTJ3k1.
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
